Outer Banks fans have been on rocky waters, but with this news they can sit back and relax like pogues again.
On January 24, actress Madelyn Cline took to her Instagram to address the rumors that she is parting ways with the Netflix hit series Outer Banks due to her breakup with her co-star Chase Stokes.
“Hi so I’m getting asked if s3 is my final season of obx,” the actress shared on her Instagram story. “I will come back for as many seasons as they will have me. I love my job and there’s not a day that goes by that I’m not grateful for it and for everyone who has watched it. Not everything you read on the internet is true.”
Cline had a quick rise to fame when the hit 2020 show released, and fans instantly fell in love with the story and it’s characters. With the show announcing season three back in December the rumours of Cline’s possible exit continued to grow.
The rumors were sparked when her relationship with co-star, Chase Stokes, ended after a year of dating. And although the two split on good terms with a source telling Us Weekly that “they had been trying to work it out for some time, but due to busy schedules and not getting to see each other a lot, they decided to go their separate ways.”

Fans began to worry that their personal relationship would affect their on-screen relationship. But with Cline denying that she’s leaving the show, and how close the cast is, the Outer Banks are back to being paradise on earth.
