Jennifer Lopez is the definition of an icon! Her career spans 3 decades of legendary performances both as a musician and an actor!
And last night (March 22), the entertainer was awarded with the Icon Award at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Host LL Cool J presented the singer with the award as fans cheered her on. JLo looked absolutely stunning in a dark green ensemble as boyfriend, Ben Affleck, watched close by.

Lopez told the crowd, “I wish I could tell you that awards were the most important to me, but that’s not true. And don’t think I don’t appreciate the shiny, sparkly things, because I do!” The entertainer continued to say, “Because of you, I get to do what I love the most in life and that is the most wonderful blessing.”
The crowd couldn’t get enough of the singer as they shouted, “I love you!”

Later that night, she took the stage to perform two of her hit songs. Right before the performance, audiences got to see a montage of the stars iconic moments throughout her career.
Once the video finished, Billy Porter, began the performance as he strutted in a pink suit announcing JLo as an icon. Drag queens followed to perform runway walks in iconic J. Lo outfits, including the iconic green Versace dress as well as her Selena purple outfit.
After they all strutted in the iconic outfits, the singer took center stage. Looking amazing in an all-white coat that went all the way down to the floor, Lopez began the performance with the newly released single “On My Way” from the movie Marry Me.

Halfway through the song, the singer took off her coat to unveil a black glittered leotard as “Get Right” began playing. Lopez had a whole choreographed performance showing the audience not only is she a talented singer but also an extremely talented dancer.
The singer ended the performance by hitting the high notes of the song as the crowd roared in adoration!
