Jennifer Lopez Shares the One Lesson She’s Learned From Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck excited fans and the world when they decided to rekindle their relationship last year and become the most talked about couple of 2021.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Lopez opened up about how she prefers to keep her personal life on the down low.

“You really just want to sing and dance and act,” she explained. “This whole other thing comes along with it that you have to learn how to navigate—having that public life, this artistic life and then your private life. What you want is just a regular life, like anybody else. All of it is put under scrutiny.”

Lopez and Affleck are going strong and are certainly keeping the “Bennifer” flame alive with romantic trips, date nights and more. But Lopez revealed that she and Affleck had learned an important lesson about the media from their first relationship attempt 17 years ago.

“Hold [relationships] sacred,” she said. “You have to do what feels good to you all the time. But at the same time, you learn from the past, you do things better the second time. There’s a part of it that, yes, we’re together. But there’s a part of it that’s not, you know, being so open the way we were when we were so young and in love many years ago.”

And this seems to be true for the couple, with sources telling E! News that the two are “stronger than ever and very much in love.”
