Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza prove to be the ultimate duo.
The two actors teamed together to deliver the award for “outstanding performance by a male actor in a television movie or limited series” at Sunday’s 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Their chemistry was electrifying.
At first the 38-year-old and the 20-year-old stood at the podium in complete silence while looking into the camera for nearly 10-seconds, until Plaza finally broke the awkward silence by saying, “I don’t know why they paired us up together.”
Ortega responded, “I know, we have nothing in common.”

“We should find the people who did this,” Plaza replied, before the two actresses simultaneously recited, “And curse their families and watch as misfortune follows their bloodline for the next seven generations.”
Plaza jokingly replied, “Okay, I see it now.”
The SAG Awards audience exploded in laughter and cheers at that point, and multitudes of fans flooded Twitter to demand that the women be cast in a film or television program together.
Later, Plaza acknowledged in a red carpet interview that she would be more than happy to collaborate with Ortega on a larger project.

“Oh, I’m down,” Plaza told Entertainment Tonight. “We’ll just kill everybody with our eyes.”
Plaza is most known for playing April Ludgate in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, who is charmingly awkward and cranky. In the meantime, Ortega became well-known for her most recent main role as depressed outcast Wednesday Addams in the Netflix comedy-horror series Wednesday.
A dark comedic partnership between them would therefore undoubtedly be a success.
