Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor just welcomed their first child!
The former Vanderpump Rules couple shared the news to Instagram on Tuesday, April 13.
“Yesterday April 12, at 1:51pm our lives changed forever, we welcomed Cruz Michael Cauchi into the world,” Jax Taylor wrote on Instagram, “I’ve never in my life thought it was going to be like this. It’s 10000 times better. Dad mode just kicks in. I don’t think I have ever been as happy as I am right now, everything else in life seems so insignificant now.”

Cartwright also shared about the experience on her Instagram account.
“Our beautiful son Cruz Michael Cauchi was born and we have never been more in love.” She wrote, “He is the most precious gift and I am so blessed to be his Mommy.”
Jax Taylor also admitted some of the challenges the couple experienced with the pregnancy on his Instagram.
He wrote, “I just want to say how absolutely amazing my wife has been through this whole process, it has not been an easy pregnancy for her but she did an absolute amazing job all the way till the end.”

Jax announced that he and Brittany were departing Vanderpump Rules for undisclosed reasons in December 2020.
Some other Vanderpump Rules stars (and former stars) have also recently started their families. Stasi Schroeder and husband Beau Clark welcomed their daughter Hartford Charlie Rose in January. In March, Lala Kent and fiancé Randall Emmett welcomed a baby girl named Ocean Kent Emmett. Plus, mom-to-be Scheana Shay is expecting her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies.
