The Grammy Award-winning artist is set to release her second studio album, “Playing With Fire” on May 13, 2016. The album was produced by Dann Huff and was recorded in Nashville. She collaborated with Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Lori McKenna on all 11 tracks.
The leading single premiered in the fall of 2015 on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and it’s titled, “Unlove You“. Both fans and critics have positive things to say about the song. The single is slowly climbing on the charts. Rolling Stone called it a “smoldering tune.”
This was a very busy year for Nettles she just ended her headlining Playing With Fire tour. The tour went to 20+ cities, her openers were Brandy Clark and Ryan Kinder. She made her acting debut on NBC’s Coats of Many Colors, she was also a host on ABC’s CMA Country Christmas special, she even appeared on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Nettles is currently on the road with Brandy Clark, Lindsay Ell, and Tara Thompson on a 30+ date CMT 2016 Women of the Country tour across the US.
