JoJo is ready to see her name in Broadway lights.
The singer-songwriter took to social media (Feb. 23) to announce her new venture – broadway. She is set to make her Broadway debut on April 11 as Satine in Moulin Rouge.

JoJo is known for being an incredible musician and a fantastic actress. Some of her musical accolades include being the youngest solo artist in history to top the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart with her debut single, “Leave (Get Out),”; as well as reaching platinum with her debut album “JoJo” and her hit single “Too Little Too Late.”
As for some of her acting accolades, JoJo starred alongside Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines, and Josh Hutcherson in the 2006 hit comedy RV, which she played the late-great actor’s daughter in the movie, Cassie. JoJo is also beloved for her role as Hailey in Aquamarine, starring Sara Paxton and Emma Roberts.

JoJo will now have the opportunity to combine those worlds and showcase multiple talents at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.
JoJo will be starring alongside Derek Klena as Klena will be stepping in to play the role of “Christian.” Klena has much experience in the Broadway world, including being in the original cast of Jagged Little Pill.

JoJo’s run as “Satine” will begin on April 11 and end on July 16.
