For longtime fans, the Jonas Brothers’ JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour isn’t just a concert — it’s a full-circle celebration of the soundtrack that raised us. On Monday, August 18, Joe, Nick, and Kevin brought that magic to a completely sold-out Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in upstate New York, and for me — someone who’s seen the band nearly 60 times — it felt like stepping back into my childhood, only better.
Nestled in rural New York, not too far from their actual hometown of Wyckoff, NJ, Bethel was the perfect spot for yet another nostalgic homecoming. On a late-summer weekday night, thousands of fans poured into the iconic venue from North Jersey, New York City, Albany, and beyond, proving that the Jonas Brothers’ pull is as strong as ever two decades in.
Before the JoBros took the stage, Boys Like Girls set the tone with a killer set that reminded us all that pop-punk is alive and thriving. Hits like “Love Drunk,” “Thunder,” and “Hero/Heroine” had millennials screaming like it was 2008 again, while new songs like “Blood and Sugar” kept things fresh. By the time they closed with “The Great Escape,” the energy was already electric.

Then the lights went down, the intro video rolled, and suddenly — it was time. Opening with “Strong Enough” (a tour debut) and flowing seamlessly into hits like “Only Human” and “S.O.S.,” the setlist perfectly balanced nostalgia with evolution. Fan-favorite deep cuts like “Take a Breath,” “Bully,” and “Fly With Me” made longtime fans feel seen, while mega-hits “Sucker,” “Lovebug,” and “Year 3000” reminded everyone why they fell in love with the JoBros in the first place.

One of the most jaw-dropping moments of the night came when Nick Jonas dusted off his Nick Jonas & The Administration era for the first time in over a decade. Performing “Rose Garden,” “Who I Am,” and “Last Time Around,” he gave fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to relive a chapter many thought was gone forever. Not to be outdone, Joe Jonas brought the party with DNCE’s “Cake by the Ocean” that featured a rockstar-worthy guitar solo from former band member JinJoo Lee, while both brothers leaned into their solo eras, trading hits like “Jealous” and “Just in Love” back-to-back.
And yes, Big Rob was back on the job for “Burnin’ Up,” while Franklin Jonas joined the encore for “When You Look Me in the Eyes.” Add in a cameo from Deleasa, and it truly felt like family.
The brothers didn’t just perform — they connected. Between heartfelt dedications (“Little Bird” continues to be one of the most emotional moments of the night) and playful banter, it was clear that even though they’ve grown into seasoned musicians and family men, Joe, Nick, and Kevin still have the same spark and brotherly charm that first stole hearts nearly twenty years ago.

For me, this show hit differently. I wore a vintage Jonas Brothers tee from their 2013 tour (yes, the one with The Hangover quote: “Next week’s no good for me. The Jonas Brothers are in town.”), and it felt like no time had passed since my sister and I screamed our lungs out at their shows as kids.
Except now, we’re adults, and so are they. Watching Nick, Joe, and Kevin command the stage with the same energy they had 20 years ago — but with the wisdom and polish of seasoned performers — was surreal. They aren’t just reliving the past; they’re rewriting it in real time, for a new generation of fans and the ones who never left. They didn’t just take us back in time — they reminded us how far we’ve all come.

With rotating special guests (Marshmello, The All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls) and exclusive live streams on Samsung TV Plus, the JONAS20 tour is unlike anything the band has ever done before. It’s nostalgia, yes — but it’s also evolution, growth, and proof that the Jonas Brothers’ legacy isn’t stuck in the past.
The tour runs through November with U.S. and international dates still ahead, and if you’ve ever loved this band — whether you first heard them on Disney Channel or just discovered them with “Sucker” — you need to catch this show. Because two decades later, the Jonas Brothers aren’t just still here. They’re still burnin’ up
