Congrats are in order for Jordan Davis!
The Country singer snagged a coveted win in the “Best New Country Artist” category at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 14). Davis was up against a bunch of his peers, including Carly Pearce, Dylan Scott, LANCO, and Russell Dickerson, and won solely based on the success of his No.1 Platinum-certified smash hit “Singles You Up” as well as his most recent No. 1 hit “Take It From Me.”

CS Country caught up with Davis on the red carpet yesterday and he told us that it was the first award nomination he’s ever received as an artist!
“Walking any red carpet is fun,” he told CS Country. “It’s a little more fun when you have something to talk about, so it’s been a special day.”
Since the announcement in January, Jordan received a nod for New Male Vocalist at the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards, which he said “felt so good” after he heard the news.
“I made a record that I love and that I’m very, very happy about, and it feels really good to be noticed for that,” he continued.
Jordan is currently on the road with Old Dominion as part of the “Make It Sweet Tour” with upcoming stops in Madison, WI and St. Louis, MO. The singer/songwriter will next join Rascal Flatts on the “Summer Playlist Tour” starting this July.
