Calling all Liv and Maddie fans! Dove Cameron and Jordan Fisher are set to reunite on camera, but this time on the big screen!
Cameron and Fisher will be leading in Warner Bros/HBO Max’s feature film of the YA novel adaptation of Field Notes On Love by Jennifer E. Smith. Smith will be co-adapting the film with Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham and Fisher will also be an executive producer.
The romance novel is the story of Hugo, who got dumped by his girlfriend before their long-planned romantic getaway and is in need of a replacement partner. Enter Mae: a recent USC film school reject who comes across Hugo’s ad for a replacement and sees it as the perfect opportunity for inspiration for a new film. The pair escape their regular lives and head on to this new adventure as strangers which could possibly lead to something more.
This isn’t the first time the CW Powerpuff Girl and Hamilton star will be working together! The long-time friends have co-starred together on Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie where Cameron starred as both Liv and Maddie and Fisher appeared as a recurring character and Liv’s love interest, Holden Dippledorf.

Fisher expressed his joy and excitement to work with his long-time friend by uploading a TikTok talking about his friendship with Cameron and how they both manifested working on a show together and feature film together one day and both have finally come true!
