Justin Bieber just scored his eighth No. 1 album with Justice and his seventh No. 1 single with “Peaches,” also earning R&B singers Daniel Caesar and Giveon, who are featured on the song, their first No.1 of their careers.

With this achievement, Bieber joins the exclusive club of simultaneously charting No. 1 with a single and an album, within the same week–the only other members in the said club are Taylor Swift and BTS.
Swift earned her spot last year with her releases of Folklore and Evermore. Each of them debuting at No. 1 along with their respective singles, “Cardigan” and “Willow.” Making her the only act to do so twice.
In between Swift’s releases, BTS gained their club membership with their album Be and single, “Life Goes On,” which was the first primarily Korean song to earn No. 1 on that chart.
Although it’s not rare for popular new releases from big stars like Bieber to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, it is pretty rare for an artist to debut both an album and a single from the album within the same time frame.

Along with this incredible achievement, Bieber has also now surpassed the likes of Eminem and James Brown, earning 98 entries on the Hot 100 chart, having the 11th-most of all time. He also ties with Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, and Whitney Houston in 13th place, having the most top 10 hits–with a big total of 23.
This goes to show that the Canadian-singer hasn’t lost his touch and isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Congrats, Justin!
