Kane Brown is headed to ATX!
The chart-topping Country music star has been tapped to co-host the 2023 CMT Music Awards with previously announced Kelsea Ballerini at the brand-new Moody Center on April 2. The annual country fan-voted award show marks Austin’s first major televised awards in its city’s history.
In addition to hosting, CMT revealed that Brown will team up with this wife Katelyn Brown for the broadcast world premiere of their multi-week No. 1 hit single “Thank God.” The history-making duet has over 210 million streams and cements the Browns as only the second married couple in country music history to earn a #1 on both Billboard and Aircheck charts.

Aside from returning as a host and performer at the CMT Awards, Kane will be making his acting debut this April on the hit new drama Fire Country the following Friday (April 7). According to the network, the “Grand” singer will play Robin, an enigmatic, modern-day train hopper who helps injured patient on the scene of a crash.
“A Robin Hood of sorts, he’s an outlaw on the run with a heart of gold,” CMT shares in a press release.
