Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian bring maturity and fashion to this year’s Met Gala.
The former cast member of Saturday Night Live and the star of the reality television series met while attending the Monday night’s (May 1) event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, more than eight months after their breakup.
Pete, who was wearing Fendi, was seen catching up with Kim, who looked stunning in a beaded Schiaparelli gown, and fellow partygoer Usher inside the glitzy event.
For the former couple, the Met Gala holds a particular place in their hearts. After all, it was there that the two had their initial encounter in May 2021.
“He had been asking around for my number a little bit,” Kim recalled on an episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast last year. “I saw him at the Met and he knew I was hosting SNL, but it wasn’t announced yet. He came up to me and we were talking about SNL.”
Kim and Pete reconnected in October 2021 when she made an appearance on the NBC sketch comedy show, despite the fact that she had trouble giving Pete her number at the time due to the gloves on her Balenciaga suit. They exchanged an on-air kiss during the show, which Kim claimed gave her “a little zing,” and they soon began dating as a result.
“When we kissed, I was just like, ‘Hmm!'” the SKIMS mogul remembered. “A few days later, I was like, ‘Hmm, there is some BDE action.”
