As the final episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians air, the reasoning behind Kim Kardashian’s divorce to Kanye West is beginning to unfold.
In the most recent episode (June 3,) we watched the Skims CEO go off on her family over cookies during a trip to Lake Tahoe. Younger sister, Khloé Kardashian assumed that Kim’s uproar was coming from somewhere deeper.
In a confessional, Khloé shared “Kim has been struggling privately behind the camera about her relationship and it’s tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger.”
Khloé then confronts her older sister about her behavior asking “How are you and Kanye doing?” She responds “There’s no fighting,” Kim confessed. “Like, now it’s all calm so I just roll with it, you know?”
According to Khloé, Kim and Kanye got into a huge fight before the Lake Tahoe getaway. In a flashback we see a visibly emotional Kim Kardashian opening up to sisters Kendall, Kylie, and Kourtney about her marriage.
“He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything and I can’t,” Kim cried. She continued, saying that she cannot move to Wyoming to be with Kanye. “I feel like a f––king failure and it’s like a third f––king marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f––king loser.”
Undertones of divorce were obvious during this conversation. However, the reality star refused to continue the discussion. This will now be Kim Kardashian’s 3rd divorce following failed marriages to her first husband, Damon Thomas and former professional basketball player, Kris Humphries.
Back in February of this year, Kim filed for divorce after six years of marriage to Kanye West.
“I always just thought that I could have my kids, my husband moves from state to state, and then I realized, like, no, I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy,” says Kim to Kris Jenner in the series preview.
I’m sure we will see this story unfold as the series finale approaches. One thing we know is that Kim’s main priority is taking care of her kids— North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
