There’s a baby onboard! Emily DiDonato is expecting her first child with husband Kyle Peterson.
After taking two month break from YouTube, the Sports Illustrated model announced the incredible news, while sharing that her new bundle of joy will arrive early December, 2021.
After feeling bloated and tired, the 30-year-old model revealed that she decided to take a pregnancy test, which turned out to be positive. She admits that she went to CVS to buy multiple ClearBlue tests and took all of them to confirm the great news.
She revealed in her video that rather than creating an extravagant surprise pregnancy reveal to her 35-year-old husband, she spilled the surprise when he walked through the door, coming home from receiving his COVID-19 vaccine.

In an exclusive with PEOPLE, DiDonato teased that Kyle had a difficult time keeping the secret during the first three months she was pregnant.
Married in 2018, the mom-to-be has always wanted kids and even though they weren’t “actively trying,” they are so excited to have their first child on the way.
To top off the great news, the model revealed the gender of the baby in an adorable Instagram post where her and her husband listen to a voicemail her doctor left on DiDonato’s phone.

The baby news came just in time after DiDonato and her best friend, Christina Uribe, a Google executive, released the successful launch of Covey, their new skincare line.
“Timing-wise it wasn’t perfect, but there’s never a perfect or right time,” admits the model.
