A new season of Saturday Night Live can only mean one thing — more star-studded hosts, performers and hilarious sketches!
Just yesterday (September 22), the show revealed the hosts and musical performances for the first string of episodes and they are absolutely amazing.
For the show’s season premiere episode on October 2, actor Owen Wilson will be hosting the show with musical guest Kacey Musgraves. While they have both appeared on the show before, Wilson will take the on hosting duties for the first time.
For the second episode on October 9, Kim Kardashian West will be hosting the show with musical guest Halsey. Although this will be Kim’s first appearance, this episode marks Halsey’s fifth time as a musical guest.
For October 16, Rami Malek receives the hosting torch with a special musical performance from Young Thug. The episode marks both Young Thug and Malek SNL debuts.
Finally, actor Jason Sudeikis will be hosting the October 23 episode, with musical guest Brandi Carlile. Both stars will be making big debuts — as it will be Carlile’s first time on SNL, with Sudeikis hosting the show for the very first time after being a longtime cast member.
Season 47 kicks off this Saturday, October 2nd at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC, with new episodes of SNL streamed to Peacock, Variety reports.
