Euphoria fans will have to continue to wait for Season 2 of the series, but don’t worry… HBO is making sure the wait isn’t too agonizingly long by giving them two special episodes.
The first episode was released on December 6, which was focused on Emmy-winner Zendaya‘s Rue Bennett, and the second will be released tonight, January 24. This second special episode is going to be centered on Hunter Schafer‘s Jules and premieres tonight at 9 pm ET. If you have an HBO Max subscription, however, the episode is now available on the streaming platform.
Schafer co-wrote the special episode, titled “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob”, with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and also served as co-executive producer of the installment. It will follow Jules over the Christmas holiday and the audience will see her reflect on everything that has happened in the last year.
The Rue-focused special episode, titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” takes place after Jules left Rue at the train station and after she relapsed.

Euphoria was expected to return with the second season in 2021, but because of the Coronavirus pandemic, they had to delay production. HBO reassured that both episodes were filmed following COVID-19 guidelines.
