Lee Brice Says New Christmas Song “Single Bells” is One That ‘Can Be Around Forever’ (Exclusive)

If you’re wondering if Lee Brice‘s new Christmas original “Single Bells” is a new twist on the iconic yuletide classic “Jingle Bells,” you are absolutely right.

Raising a glass to all the folks who are alone for the holidays with the release of his new track, “Single Bells” is a cleverly relatable ode to the party of one.

Written by Matt Alderman and David Tolliver, and produced by Brice and Ben Glover, the 45-year-old multi-platinum Country hitmaker knew that it was a special tune from the moment the idea came his way.

“[When] this song came across my plate, I was like, ‘this thing can be around forever.’ This song came to me and it’s just so, so classic to me,” Lee gushes to Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder exclusively in a virtual interview.

Describing the track as “if Sinatra heard something like this, but it’s a little more like Bruno Mars would have done it in country,” the holiday ballad is filled with soulful piano and a gospel-infused vocal that pulls you in from the moment is begins, making even the loneliest feel a little less alone.

“The holidays are a time for many of us to gather with family and loved ones. It’s truly one of my favorite times of year. When I heard ‘Single Bells’ for the first time it really stopped me and made me think of all those folks out there who may not have the big family get-togethers or maybe missing it this year. This song is my toast to the parties of one and I hope it brings comfort to anyone who needs it this holiday season,” Brice also mentioned in a statement.

No stranger to original holiday music, Brice’s last Christmas themed track,Santa Claus Was My Uber Driveris a humorous story inspired by a real-life experience he had one night being picked up from the airport by the one-and-only Santa Claus.

Busy in the recording studio writing a ton of new songs, Lee is also gearing up to hit the road once again for his his upcoming You, Me & My Guitar Tour which kicks-off in Wilkes-Barre, PA on January 30th, 2025. During this truly one-of-a-kind tour, Brice takes the audience behind the music as he seamlessly moves across the stage adorned with various guitars — Lee confirms to Celeb Secrets there are 30 on stage, and he plays all of them – each one engrained with a special memory.

“We play all of the hits, but our biggest focus is how do we do them in a cool new way not only everyone who’s come to our shows before, but for us playing them… we make it a point to make it brand new every year,” Brice mentions to Celeb Secrets about his unique show.

“I talk about the stages of my life and the music and the guitars… it’s just a different thing. You can’t get that when you’ve got tracks playing and a full band. Once that train gets rolling, it’s rolling,” he continues. “If it’s just me and a guitar, I can stop it whenever I want to and I love that part about it.”
