Lil Nas X Releases “Uncensored” Video For “Industry Baby” (Watch)

Lil Nas X just dropped the “uncensored” version of his already NSFW “Industry Baby” music video with Jack Harlow and it’s a bit… uh… interesting.

The 22-year-old starts the new version the same way the original starts, shining his Grammy Awards in his jail cell and twerking on his cellmates. Then, the video enters a dancing shower scene, in which all of the inmates are naked and following a dance routine.

Just to clarify… everyone and all body parts in the video are censored in the first version, but it was still a bit explicit for viewers. Fans couldn’t even believe that the “Old Town Road” singer was going to get even more raunchy in the uncensored version, and they were definitely in for a surprise after the visual dropped online. Just when you think you are about to see some extremely inappropriate content in the new “uncensored” version of this video, the camera cuts to a shower head just leaking and stays on that for the remainder of the video. Featured rapper Jack Harlow does not appear anywhere in the visual either.

Instead of doing a wet-and-wild shower routine, Lil Nas X has pulled a publicity stunt, convincing his followers and fans that he would release the original and uncensored version of his music video. Instead, he released a nearly three-minute-long loading screen of a leaking shower head.

To no surprise, the “uncensored” version already has over four million views, and the people leaving comments on the video are priceless.

“This is daylight robbery. He really got ad revenue and streams TWICE. Nas is a genius,” says a YouTube user.

Lil Nas X is no stranger to putting together epic publicity stunts that break the Internet. Back in March, the Grammy Award-winning artist got his phone “taken away” by his label and tried to tell fans about the experience in a super low-quality video, only to then reveal that his new single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” was dropping the following week. He then promised fans that he would drop the music video upon release, but only if the song received over 100k presaves. To date, the video has over 300M views on YouTube (after sparking some controversy) and the song is still on top of streaming and radio charts.
