Lily Rose Talks Kicking Off 2025 with “Let You Know When I Get There” and Headlining Tour (Exclusive)

Trailblazing country artist Lily Rose is charging into 2025 with energy and heart, starting with the release of her heartfelt new single, “Let You Know When I Get There.” Known for her emotional storytelling and contemporary country sound, Rose is ready to make this year unforgettable for fans everywhere.

Released this past Friday (January 10), “Let You Know When I Get There” is an ode to family, love, and the moments that shape us. Written by Ben Stennis, Michael Tyler, and Hunter Phelps, the song is a heartfelt journey through late-night drives, lessons from loved ones, and bittersweet goodbyes.

Rose didn’t write the song herself, but when she first heard it, she felt its power immediately. “I cried in the room when I heard it for the first time,” she tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “I think it’s a hit—it connects so many different stories of life’s timeline.”

The song has already created buzz during live shows. Rose, in her typical fan-first approach, gave her audience a sneak peek before its release, skipping social media teasers in favor of intimate, live performances. “You could hear a pin drop during that third chorus,” she says, reflecting on the crowd’s reaction. The final verse, which touches on loss and legacy, resonates deeply with listeners and promises to become a staple in Rose’s setlist.

Kicking off her 2025 Runnin’ Outta Time Tour, Rose will perform to a sold-out crowd at The Basement East in Nashville this coming Wednesday, January 15th. “It’s going to be loud in there,” Rose laughed when talking about the upcoming show. This milestone marks her first time headlining the iconic venue, and it’s clear she’s just as excited as her fans. While there are no surprise collaborations planned, Rose promises an unforgettable evening with a refreshed setlist and the same high-energy performance fans have come to love.

The Nashville show is only the beginning. Rose is embarking on an extended 14-stop tour alongside special guest Payton Smith. This leg builds on the momentum of her wildly successful fall run, where she played 23 packed shows following the release of her EP, Runnin’ Outta Time. Looking ahead, she hopes to add even more dates, dreaming of playing 75 to 90 shows this year.

Rose takes her touring seriously, and her essentials reflect her commitment to staying grounded and energized. Among the must-haves: her beloved hats, a stash of tequila, and a portable gym setup to keep her workout routine intact.

Growing up in a household with a personal trainer mom and a marathon-running dad instilled a strong sense of discipline. “Working out every day is my therapy,” Rose explains. “It’s the only hour and a half I have to myself where I’m not being the boss or in charge of anything. Plus, it’s a great way to kickstart the day—even if there’s a hangover!” Whether she’s running around a parking lot with resistance bands or finding a local gym, fitness remains a key part of her life on the road.

For Rose, headlining is a completely different experience from opening for stars like Sam Hunt, Shania Twain, and Luke Bryan. “When you’re headlining, they’re there for you,” she explains. “You don’t have to prove anything to anyone—you get to make the setlist for your fans.”

With more music in the pipeline, Rose is excited to continue exploring her artistry. Each song, she says, feels distinctly her. “They’re all different, but when you group them together, it’s like, yeah, that makes sense. That’s definitely a Lily song,” she shared. This year, she hopes to establish a consistent release schedule for the first time in her career, giving fans a steady stream of new material to enjoy.

Reflecting on her journey, Rose says 2024 was a year of growth and learning. From her Grand Ole Opry debut to touring alongside her heroes, she gained a new perspective: “All you have is today,” she says. “Just take it day by day.”

As Lily Rose continues to carve her own path in the country music scene, her fans remain at the heart of her success. From the small venues she’s selling out to the heartfelt songs she sings, Rose’s journey is a testament to perseverance, gratitude, and the power of connection.
