Lisa Kudrow Reveals Emotional ‘Friends’ Reunion Moment Viewers May Have Missed

On May 27, the Friends reunion special aired on HBO and we are still wiping our tears. But we weren’t the only ones getting emotional…

Lisa Kudrow was a guest on E! News Daily Pop and revealed a heartfelt moment between her, Matt LeBlanc, and Courteney Cox, that fans might have missed while watching the historic pop-culture moment.

Kudrow sat down with the outlet, to speak exclusively on the reunion. She explains that David Schwimmer pointed out a moment that she almost missed herself.

“Well, Courteney comes in and burst into tears,” Kudrow told E! News, “and I grab a napkin or a tissue—LeBlanc takes it because he is telling us a story and doesn’t want to skip a beat and starts dabbing her eyes, just on automatic.”

The reunion had many special highlights, especially when Kudrow and Lady Gaga sang the iconic jingle, “Smelly Cat” together.

Kudrow recalls that she had a hard time watching herself in the hit sitcom. Although, she shared that her husband, Michael Stern, loves to watch her. “He enjoys them more than I do, because I’m mortified with myself,” Kudrow says.
