The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again is almost here!
With less than a week away until the big show, FOX has released Laverne Cox’s version of “Sweet Transvestite” from the special’s soundtrack. Cox plays Dr. Frank-N-Furter.
The two-hour TV event pays tribute to the 1975 cult film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and its fans. It stars Laverne Cox (“Orange Is the New Black”) as the sexually ambiguous alien mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Ryan McCartan (“Heathers: The Musical,” “Liv and Maddie”) and Victoria Justice (“Zoey 101,” “Victorious”) as sweethearts Brad and Janet, who stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter‘s bizarre Transylvanian science convention.
“THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again” soundtrack also features the vocal talents of Adam Lambert as Eddie, Christina Milian as Magenta and more.
“THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again” will air Thursday, October 20th @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX, with the soundtrack available for purchase and streaming Friday, October 21st.
