Little Mix‘s Perrie Edwards is expecting her first child with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Last week (May 4), Leigh-Anne Pinnock, announced on her Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child. Now, her fellow band member Edwards is also expecting her first child. The music artist announced her pregnancy on Instagram as well. She captioned the photo, “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You (Earth Emoji and Heart Emoji). We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”

Edward’s partner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, commented on the post and said, “Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? So grateful and excited to become a dad. Bring on the sleepless nights.” Many celebrities and fans shared their congratulations. Edward’s bandmate, Pinnock, commented, “Arghhhhhhhh so so so happy for you both! And so bloody happy we get to go on this journey together! Love you so much.” Even Jade Thirlwall shared her excitement and said, ““Beaming for you both. I’m the luckiest auntie in the world! Love youuuuu.”
Edwards was first linked to Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2016, a year after ending her two-year engagement with ex-One Direction member, Zayn Malik. The couple made their relationship official in 2017 when Edwards posted an Instagram photo of them kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower, with the caption “Him,” followed by a black heart emoji.
Jesy Nelson, who left the group due to mental health struggles, has yet to send her congratulations to both of her bandmates. After Edwards posted her photo, Nelson liked the photo, but didn’t comment, and when Pinnock announced her pregnancy, Nelson failed to leave a comment.
