West Hollywood was shimmering on August 1 — and no, it wasn’t just the LA sunshine. It was Huda Mustafa, the radiant Love Island USA fan-favorite who turned Melrose Avenue into her personal runway during a sold-out meet and greet at Oh Polly’s flagship.
The energy outside the store was pure electric as fans lined up, and Huda soaked up it all in from a crowd that came ready to serve her level of glam. Many gals even rocked their own versions of the brand’s now-iconic Audrey Embellished Halterneck Gown in Deep Purple ($245) — the same one Huda wore that broke the Internet earlier this year.
Crafted from semi-sheer stretch mesh, dripping in high-shine HOTFIX embellishments, and hugging every curve in a fishtail silhouette, the gown is a “new character unlocked” moment, as Huda told us.
“When I put that dress on, I was like, wow, I feel snatched as f**,”* she laughed. “She’s giving babo. She’s giving curvy. I fell in love instantly. The color was phenomenal — I’ve never even worn purple before!”
The Love Island alum has made waves by being unapologetically herself — whether she’s rocking “bratty streetwear vibes” or serving “elegant, sexy, classy” looks. But with this, Huda didn’t just wear the dress — she owned it. And for her, that confidence isn’t just an accessory — it’s a statement.
“As a mom, people think you can’t wear certain things. No. You can wear whatever the f** you want. It’s 2025 — it’s all about confidence,” she said. “Whatever you feel good in, that’s what you should be wearing.”
From her glowing skin to her statement silhouettes, Huda travels exactly how she lives — prepared, polished, and unapologetically extra.
“For summer, I need a body glow for sure — shine brighter than your haters,” she joked. “Perfume is a must, and I have a whole layering routine. I wear three or four perfumes and two different lotions so no one smells like me. And of course, a good bikini. Always.”
This love for scent is more than just fragrance — it’s a ritual.
“People are like, ‘why is it taking so long to get ready?’ And I’m like, I have a routine. Perfume, lotion, everything. I like to smell different than everybody else.”

And if you’ve been on Love Island TikTok (or anywhere on the Internet, really), you’ve heard it: “Mommy mamacita.” The 24-year-old is also the mastermind behind the viral moment, and Huda told us it wasn’t planned, scripted, or even remembered by her at first.
“Hell no, I didn’t expect that to blow up,” she admitted. “I was thinking, okay, how am I gonna break this to him? Do I do it in a serious way? No, because that’s not me, and that’s not how he is. We give brother-sister energy, so I decided to be funny about it.”
The moment was so natural that Huda literally forgot it happened until it became one of the most-quoted lines of the season.
“After it happened, everyone was like, ‘mommy mamacita,’ and I was like, when the f** did this happen?”* she laughed. “My sister even called me like, ‘Hood, why’d you do it like that? It’s a serious moment.’ And I’m like, that’s just how I talk!”
Even now, she says fans yell it at her in public and comment it on her posts.
“To this day, I still get ‘mommy mamacita’ comments. I’m like, you know what? Keep it coming. F** it — I’ll take it.”

Between hugs, selfies, and swapping style tips with fans, Huda made it clear that her biggest motivation is the love she receives — both online and IRL.
“Overwhelmed with the unconditional love I received at my meet and greet with @ohpolly,” she later wrote on Instagram. “I seriously wouldn’t be where I am now without all of you. I love y’all BAD.”
And while her style may be bold, her heart belongs to one very special person — her daughter.
“She’s my twin, my everything. If I’m not working, I’m with her 24/7. I wish people could see more of that side of me,” Huda shared, her eyes lighting up.
As for what’s next? In true Huda fashion — the possibilities are limitless.
“Whatever I set my mind to, I can do. That goes for anyone. If you believe it’s achievable, it’s achievable.”
