BTS Members Honored As The Latest Louis Vuittion House Ambassadors

BTS band members have been crowned as brand new Louis Vuitton House Ambassadors.

After going public with the news last night (April 22), the French luxury goods firm was quick to express their immense excitement towards the collaboration.

In a Twitter post where Louis Vuitton reveals the news, they praise BTS by calling them “world renowned Pop Icons” who “are recognized for their uplifting messages that impart a positive influence.”

Although this marks a major stride from the group’s most recent McDonald’s meal special, all Louis Vuitton spokespeople are absolutely confident that RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook have what it takes to carry a brand with elegance.

BTS jumped along with the kind words by retweeting the message, spreading the word with nearly 30-million followers who took action by sharing their love in masses. Seriously, the single retweet has already garnered close to 750k likes!

Ever since the initial announcement, the company’s Instagram feed has been blowing up with welcoming posts that pay tribute to individual band members, while the introductory post nears one-million likes.

Men’s artistic director Alessio Segala is absolutely thrilled to photograph the boys in light of their ambassador status. “I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture,”  he dishes in an Instagram caption.
