Mario Lopez Says Teaming Up with Athleisure Brand Real Essentials “Seemed to Make Sense” This Holiday for This Reason (Exclusive)

Mario Lopez has a lot to celebrate this holiday season.

The 49-year-old actor and TV host has been working harder than ever on exciting new projects these last few weeks, as he’s been seen on a float during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, hosting the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on NBC, starring in a Christmas film alongside Jana Kramer on Lifetime, and being a brand ambassador for athleisure brand Real Essentials

For those who don’t know, Real Essentials is the go-to apparel brand for affordable and quality basics. Deriving from the lack of reliable basics that were currently on the market, CEO Isaac Wolfe set out to create an apparel line that fits any lifestyle and carries everything from basic workwear, loungewear to activewear for the entire family. Additionally, each product provides quality and comfort for all without the hefty price tag, saving the shopper both time and money when putting together their gift list this year.

When asked about the genesis of his collaboration with the brand, Lopez told Celeb Secrets reporter Juliet Schroder, “My buddy [and CEO] Isaac approached me [to be the first-ever brand ambassador] and I really liked the product. It’s high quality and affordable, and I thought it would be great to partner up because I’m all about the people and making sure things are cost effective.”

Mario is a dedicated family man and lives a very active lifestyle with his wife Courtney and three children, making the partnership with Real Essentials both a no brainer and a family affair.

“Athleisure wear is kind of how I roll anyway, so I liked it a lot. It just seemed to make sense,” he said.

Of the partnership, Real Essentials CEO Isaac Wolfe said in a press release, “We are thrilled to have Mario Lopez as our first Real Essentials brand ambassador. Additionally, the 49-year-old opens up about working with his wife Courtney on Access Daily and if he’ll really take a break for the holidays this year.
