“I’ve done 20 seasons now,” Ballas said onstage at the Pearl Concert Theater at Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort Sunday night (March 12) during the final performance of the DWTS Tour. “I started this journey when I was 21, 22, and honestly, being able to dance and perform for you fans … you guys are the best fans.”
He continued, “My mom is here tonight. My dad is here tonight. My wife is here tonight. My wife’s mom and dad are here tonight. I just want to finish by saying, this will be the last time you see me dance in this capacity. I’m coming to a close tonight. This is going to be my last dance.”

The professional dancer continued by sharing how amazing it was to end that chapter of his life with one last win during season 31 of DWTS alongside TikTok star Charli D’Amelio in November, “I had the best time.”
But don’t be fooled — as he teased fans “I’m not saying this is the end.”
It is such a bittersweet moment to see the success of Ballas come to a close with the announcement of his departure from the beloved show coming after 16 years since making his mark on season 5 in 2007.
