The limit does not exist as to how much Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan love each other!
Mean Girls star Bennett, tied the knot with TV host, Vaughan, this past Saturday (March 19). According to Bennett’s latest Instagram post, the couple held their ceremony at the beachside location of the Unico Riviera Maya Hotel in Mexico.
The couple first began dating in 2017 and it was in November of 2020 that Vaughan decided to pop the question to Bennett. Fast-forward two years later, and the couple is now married.
According to People, the couple recognized the importance of what their wedding meant to the LGBTQ community saying, “The whole purpose of our wedding is to come together and join the two of us together, join our families together and start a new family. And all that, as were going through the process we realized that our wedding is also more than just about us,” Bennett continues, “It’s about the entire community.”

The couple really wanted guests to feel comfortable, regardless of their gender. So, they encouraged guests to wear whatever they wanted – whether that was a tux or a dress.
The couple did ask for guests to wear white in honor of Bennett’s late mother. The couple also incorporated white roses as Vaughan told People, “White flowers were her favorite.”
Both Bennett and Vaughan penned their own vows and exchanged them at the ceremony. After, the couple held a reception where they celebrated with friends and family, fireworks went off in the distance.
“I got to marry my best friend! I knew we would be emotional, but I don’t think either of us realized just how overwhelming that moment would be until we were in it.” he shared with the outlet.
