Megan Moroney has officially entered her main pop girl of country era — and if night one of her Am I Okay? Tour stop at New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall (March 26) is any indication, she’s not just okay… she’s unstoppable.
From the second she stepped onstage in a cobalt blue Bronx and Banco ensemble — matching the sea of blue-wearing fans decked out in bows, denim, glitter, and of course cowboy boots — the reigning ACM New Female Artist of the Year had the entire venue screaming every lyric like it was a group therapy session set to the most infectious country-pop soundtrack.
It’s rare to see a rising star pack out such a historic venue on a Wednesday, but Moroney didn’t just sell out one night… she sold out two. And there wasn’t a single empty seat in sight. From tweens and moms to cowboy-hatted 20-somethings and guys who knew every word to “No Caller ID,” Megan pulled in a crowd as diverse as her discography — and everyone was on their feet.

Opening with the electric “Man on the Moon” and wrapping with her feel-good anthem “Am I Okay?,” Moroney took fans on a ride through heartbreak, healing, and high notes. She hit every fan favorite — from the chart-topping “Tennessee Orange” to the brutally honest “I’m Not Pretty” — and even threw in deep cuts from her Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) deluxe edition for the real ones.
The tears came early, though — and Megan knew exactly what she was doing. Ballads like “Girl in the Mirror” and “Hope You’re Happy” had fans wiping mascara down their cheeks, clutching their friends, and whisper-screaming, “she gets it.”
But don’t get it twisted — Moroney brought the sass just as hard as she brought the sadness. Before launching into “Sleep On My Side,” she delivered a sly smile and said, “This one’s about a f—boy with a J name. If you know, you know.” (The collective gasps and laughter? Deafening.) And just before diving into the fiery “Bless Your Heart,” she called out “mean bitches” with the kind of gleeful vengeance that only a platinum-selling storyteller can deliver.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Megan Moroney show without a little surprise. During “Miss Universe,” she literally made a fan’s night by bringing them onstage to sing alongside her — a moment that had the entire crowd cheering (and lowkey tearing up again). It was just one example of how gracious and grounded Moroney remains, even as her star power rockets sky-high. “This is a bucket list moment,” she told the crowd, clearly overwhelmed by the love.
And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any more iconic, the Georgia native dropped “Break It Right Back” live — fresh off her Late Show with Stephen Colbert performance the night before — proving her ballads hit just as hard live as they do on our sad girl playlists.

But what truly sets Megan apart? She’s real. Her lyrics are vulnerable and unfiltered, her vibe is effortlessly cool, and her connection with fans is unmatched. It’s that wildly good storytelling and fearless honesty that’s earned her over 2.5 BILLION streams and landed her nominations for “Female Artist of the Year” and “Album of the Year” at the upcoming ACM Awards. Oh — and did we mention she got surprised backstage with a platinum plaque for “Am I Okay?” mid-tour stop? A literal main character moment.
