Last month, CelebSecrets4U headed to Aspen, Colorado for ESPN’s annual Winter X Games and the most talked about event was the Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe Finals.
We watched as heavy snowfall filled Buttermilk Mountain on the night of the competition. The dedicated crowd watched as the riders were only able to throw down one run, most of them saving their big tricks for an anticipated big finish. Due to extreme weather conditions, the competition was cancelled and the podium was determined from the riders’ scores after their first runs, leaving Colorado native Matt Ladley in first place, followed by Ben Ferguson (USA) in second and Aussie Scotty James in third.
The back-to-back defending X Games gold medalist and favorite, Danny Davis, was suffering from an injury to his ankle, which he hurt during practice. Davis was not able perform his best, and as a result walked away empty handed from X Games Aspen 2016. But is this it for Danny?
We think not!
Earlier today, Davis posted a video of him tearing up the pipe in Oslo, Norway and wrote “It’s good to be back. It’s on tomorrow!”

X Games Olso 2016 kicked off today, February 24 with Men’s Skateboard Street Preliminary for Norwegians and continues through Sunday, February 28 and we couldn’t be more excited to see what Danny Davis has in store for us! We’re almost positive that Danny’s signature style will be laid down in the pipe tomorrow afternoon.
Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe Round 1 begins Thursday, February 25 @ 3PM CET and @ 9AM EST on ESPN3.
