Milo Ventimiglia will be guest-starring in the upcoming fourth season of the Emmy award-winning show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
According to Deadline, there is no information on who he will be playing in the series.
The Emmy nominated actor was spotted on Thursday (June 10) filming scenes with Rachel Brosnahan. The pair can be seen dressed in ’60s styled clothing while on location in New York City.
Ventimiglia will be teaming up once again with the show’s creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, and the executive producer, Daniel Palladino. He previously worked with them both on the show, Gilmore Girls, where he played beloved character, Jess Mariano.
Back in 2018, in a conversation with Variety, Sherman-Palladino was asked if she would ever want to reunite with the actor on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
She said, “Don’t think it has not been discussed! It’s got to be the right part. It can’t be just a cameo. It’s got to have some meat to it. And it’s also got to be a time when he can shave and cut his hair into a 1950s-period look. But the reuniting will definitely happen.”
Ventimiglia will be the second This Is Us star to join the show. His co-star, Sterling K. Brown, joined the series for the third season in 2019. Brown’s role earned him an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” at the 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards.
According to an Instagram post from Brosnahan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been in production for season 4 since January of this year. No word yet on when it will premiere.
