MTV Movie & TV Awards Is Back For A Two-Night Special Event

Get ready to place your bets on who will be taking home the Golden Popcorn! MTV announced today that the MTV Movie & TV Awards are back and so big that it’s been expanded into two days.

With main show taking place LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 16th, the second event, titled Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, is touted as the “first-ever ceremony celebrating all things reality TV.” Just as its name suggests, the show will cover all the best drama-filled moments on reality television. Who doesn’t love rewatching some of the best, iconic, jaw-dropping moments of reality tv?

The multi-day event follows after the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest Of All Time 90-minute special that relived the best moments of the award show from the very beginning to the present day that aired in December.

The host, presenters, honorees, and performers have yet to be announced, so we’ll be keeping our eye out for those to come soon.

How excited are you about this two-day event? Let us know by leaving a reaction down below or tweeting us @celebsecrets!
