Meet our first Music Monday artist of 2017 – New District!
Aside from being our new favorite boy band, New District is a five-piece pop group consisting of Jaden Bojsen, Devin Dressman, Sean Cavaliere, Dylan Rey, and Julian Martel. The band met through a worldwide talent search and development company ISINA and have worked with record producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson for numerous projects.Â
Since working with Randy Jackson, the band released their debut single “Closer,†produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer Emile Ghantous (Pitbull, JoJo, Prince Royce), has gained over two million views on YouTube, and with the current momentum behind them, they are sure to keep tugging at the heart strings of their fans. Their single “Closer†was the #1 requested new single for Radio Disney Mailbag and was also featured on SPOTIFY FRESH FINDS in their new artist program. Their second single, “Ain’t Got Money†was released on August 19, 2016, and the music video has already received over four million views on YouTube!
Jaden, Devin, Sean, Dylan, and Julian stopped by the Celeb Secrets studio to talk about becoming a band, their song “Ain’t Got Money,” and working with Randy Jackson. They also shared their dream collaboration, why people should listen to their music, and revealed some funny traits about each other — the video below has it all!
