Nessa Diab is glowing at the the 2022 MTV VMAs.
Shortly before hitting the black carpet at New Jersey’s famed Prudential Center, she and husband Colin Kaepernick announced they welcomed their first child together.
The former Talk Stoop host posted a sweet black and white photo of her and her hubby holding their newborn in the hospital. Alongside the photo, she wrote, “I thought long and hard about sharing our life changing news today. I decided to do so because today is the first day in a few weeks where I stepped out for work with a new life title – MOM!”

The 41-year-old gave birth to their son “a few weeks ago” and says they’re “over the moon with [their] growing family.”
Diab was originally hesitant about sharing the news saying the journey has been “sooooo personal” to them and she realized she is “a complete mama bear!”
But she did share a sweet update about her new family saying, “Colin is the most amazing dad and I’m soooo grateful that he is by our side for every moment of this journey.”
It’s the first time the host has stepped out since giving birth to her and the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s first child together. She was one of the first celebs to arrive at the 2022 MTV VMAs stunning in a black ankle-length gown, with metallic purple heeled boots and gold earrings.
“I know sharing this allows me to connect with you in different ways that I never imagined. My conversations and life experiences have already changed. And my world has gotten that much bigger thanks to our sweet little baby who has shown me how to love in ways I never knew,” Diab continued in her statement.
She added that her recovery after delivery has been a “journey” and told fans she would fill them on that at a later date.
