Netflix dropped the trailer for season 2 of their hit comedy show, Never Have I Ever.
Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the show centers on a young Indian American teenager named Devi Vishwakumar as she goes through situations involving love, family, and friendships. Starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, she is joined by actors Darren Barnet (Paxton Hall-Yoshida), Jared Lewinson (Ben Gross), Ramona Young (Eleanor Wong), Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola Torres), Richa Moorjani (Kamala) and Poorna Jagannathan (Nalini Vishwakumar).
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, two new characters will be joining the cast for the upcoming season. Megan Suri will star as Aneesa, a new student at Sherman Oaks High. Common will star as Dr. Chris Jackson, a potential love interest for Devi’s mom, Nalini.

The trailer starts off with Devi staring at a cork board as she contemplates the pros and cons of her two love interests, Ben and Paxton. If you remember at the end of season 1, Devi finds herself in a love triangle with the two boys. As she kisses Ben for the first time, we see Paxton calling her to ask her out on a date.
Her best friends, Fabiola and Eleanor, are helping her make a decision on which boy she should pick. In unison, they both say, “Paxton.” Devi objects because she likes qualities about them both. She pleads that this is her last chance to secure an American boyfriend.
Fabiola says, “What’s the alternative, you just date two guys until you move to India?” Devi runs with the idea and says, “Oh my God, I have two boyfriends.” The rest of the trailer shows Devi as she tries to navigate her life with two partners. We also see storylines involving a new girl in school and relationships between other characters.
