Alternative pop band Never Shout Never, aka Christofer Drew and his fellow bandmates, are gearing up for their winter headlining U.S. tour in early 2016!
The tour kicks off on January 13th in Dallas and criss-crosses the U.S. through the end of February where it wraps up on the 27th in Lawrence, KS. The band is touring in support of their critically acclaimed new album, Black Cat, which was released by Warner Bros. Records in August. The band Metro Station will be main support.
Drew, 24, has been writing, recording and touring for nearly a decade and has become one of the most respected young songwriting forces of his generation. He began writing the songs that appear on Black Cat in 2013, and brought an arsenal of tunes with him to the studio in 2014. Working over several months in Los Angeles with producer, Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello, Modest Mouse) and the band, two things happened that were firsts for Never Shout Never: (1) Drew welcomed both the band and Herring to write with him, and (2) he embraced a pre-production process that helped them to shape and mold the songs before recording. Both practices proved inspirational and vital to the full, epic sound of Black Cat.
In addition to the tour announcement, Never Shout Never premiere a video for an acoustic version of their single “Red Balloon” — make sure to watch it below!
