The official trailer for Zack Synder’s Army of the Dead dropped Tuesday and it’s centered around a zombie-infested Las Vegas strip.
Dave Bautista stars in the action-horror film that takes us along on a post-apocalyptic heist to try and get $200 million out of a vault buried underneath the iconic strip. There’s only one catch–there’s a huge zombie population that now resides in Las Vegas and they’re a different kind of breed of zombies. Ones that are thoroughly organized and can quickly follow orders.
Heck, there’s even a zombie tiger.
Along with Bautista, the cast also includes Ana De La Reguera, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder, Matthias Schweighöfer, Samantha Win, and Rich Cetrone.
Synder wrote the script with Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum) and Joby Harold (Robin Hood), who will all also be working on not only a prequel film but a prequel anime series of Army of the Dead, titled Army of Thieves, which is set to release on Netflix.
Army of the Dead will arrive in select theaters and on Netflix on May 21. Watch the full trailer below.
