This week’s New Music Friday is starting off hot. Why is that? blink-182 is back, baby!!
The band has birthed their second emotional songs “ONE MORE TIME” off of their album, One More Time, coming October 20th via Columbia Records.
The song proceeds the record’s first single “Edging” and offers a more stripped-down, emotional side of the band and explores a darker journey for each member of the group.
Hoppus sings, “I wish they told us it shouldn’t take a sickness / Or airplanes falling out the sky. / Do you have to die to hear you say goodbye / Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye? / I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow / I don’t want to do this one more time.”
That isn’t the only release we are PUMPED about.
Travis Barker’s son Landon Barker has shared a glimpse of his messy love life in new single “Friends With Your Ex.” His father produced the track and played drums on the track. Barker clarifies, it’s not about being friends with your ex, but starting to date somebody while being friends with their ex. He sings, “I was friends with your ex / You were with him when we met / Guess he hasn’t found out yet / But I know he’s gonna kill me when he sees me with you.”
Doja Cat is back with her fourth studio album, Scarlet, and it’s to die for. The album is raw and some of our favorite songs are “Demons,” “97” and “Often.”

As for collaborations, Jean Dawson teamed up with SZA for “NO SZNS,” Shakira joined Fuerza Regida for “El Jefe” and Sueco joined Bea Miller for “Yours.”
