Another week means another New Music Friday! SO MANY of our favorite country artists dropped new songs today (August 30th) and we aren’t lying when we say that they’re all bops and no skips.
For starters, Noah Kahan unveiled his new live album Live From Fenway Park, which was recorded during his sold-out We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour stops at the legendary Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
“The shows at Fenway Park were transcendent and magical and hard to describe. I won’t try to. Just listen to the crowd, feel the emotion of the people in that ballpark, hear me make corny jokes in between songs, and listen to the greatest two nights of my life, as I sit here and hope that this live album is enough to accurately paint the picture,” Noah says in a statement. “When I listen I am brought right back there, surrounded by green and red and white and what felt like the entirety of New England cheering me on. This album is yours now.”
The live album is a celebration of Kahan’s massive touring success over the past two years and the final installment of the Stick Season chapter. It features a new unreleased song, “Pain Is Cold Water,” which has gone viral online with fans anxiously awaiting its official release, as well as a live duet performance with fellow GRAMMY® Best New Artist nominee and singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams on “Everywhere, Everything,” who was a surprise special guest during the first night at Fenway Park. On the record, fans can also listen to live versions of Stick Season tracks and favorites from Kahan’s discography, including “Mess” and “Maine.”
