New Music Friday (Country Edition): Thomas Rhett Closes Out His “Summer of New Music” With Deluxe Album Release + More Fresh Tracks This Week – September 26, 2025

It’s Friday, and you know what that means — we’ve got your full lineup of this week’s hottest country releases all in one place! From fan-favorite artists dropping new projects to rising stars making their mark, this week’s release slate is packed with songs that deserve a spot on your playlist.

Thomas Rhett is closing out his “summer of new music” with one last gift to fans. The country superstar is dropped About a Woman (Deluxe) today (September 26) across all streaming platforms, with CD and vinyl editions arriving October 3 exclusively through Amazon. The deluxe version brings his 2024 album full circle, expanding the project to a massive 25 tracks with the addition of three brand-new songs: “Water,” “Chapter 10,” and “On a River.”

Rhett teased the release on Instagram, reflecting on a whirlwind few months of fresh music: I promised y’all a summer full of new music and we did just that… These last 3 songs wrap up the entire deluxe edition of About A Woman. Cheers y’all.”

The deluxe capstone follows two earlier waves of bonus tracks this year. Back in May, Rhett treated listeners to About a Woman (From a Small Town), which featured the fan-favorite duet “Small Town Girls” with rising country newcomer Tucker Wetmore. Then in June came About a Woman (& A Good Ol’ Boy), adding collaborations with Jordan Davis and Blake Shelton, as well as the solo standout “Bottle With Your Name On It.”

For Rhett, each release has doubled as a live celebration, with the singer road-testing the new material during his summer tour. With About a Woman (Deluxe), Rhett wraps up a two-year album era that highlights both his heartfelt storytelling and his big, crowd-pleasing anthems.

But he’s not the only one delivering fresh music. This week also brings exciting new projects, including HARDY’s COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, Lady A’s On This Winter’s Night (Volume 2), Cameron Whitcomb’s Hundred Mile High, Marcus King’s Darling Blue, Ben Gallaher’s Time, Karley Scott Collins’s Flight Risk, Tyler Rich’s Leaving California and Lily Rose’s I Know What I Want.

Chart-topping artists like Ty Myers, Cooper Alan,  Avery Anna, Billy Currington, Cole Swindell, Colter Wall, and Parker McCollum are also keeping the hits coming. PLUS, brand new collaborations from Dustin Lynch and MC4D’s “Home To You,” and Marshmello and Hudson Westbrook, “Better Man Than Me.”

Friday’s release slate is also stacked with newcomers making their mark and big names keeping the momentum going. Rising stars like Meghan Patrick, Peech., Hayden Coffman, Renata The Band, Anella, and The Castellows, are dropping fresh tracks.
