New Music Friday: Diddy Hops on Remix of Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and 21 Savage’s ‘Creepin”: Stream It Now

It is safe to say fans can call themselves LUCKY this St. Patrick’s Day as a collection of iconic artists dropped some heat right on time to kick off your pregame this New Music Friday!

Diddy has come full circle by hopping on the remix of the hit song “Creepin,” which was released today (March 17) so it comes without a doubt we honor this single as our top for this week’s edition for NMF by Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and 21 Savage via Boominati Global and Republic Records.

Diddy originally appears in “Creepin’,” a portion of Mario Winans 2004 Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 hit “I Don’t Wanna Know,” now two decades later Diddy is reprising his role on the Metro Boomin’ version.

The first iteration of “Creepin’,” which peaked at No. 3 in the Hot 100, spent the previous 10 weeks in the top 10 which was featured on Metro Boomin’s most recent album “Heroes & Villains”, released on December 2, 2022. Furthermore, the song peaked as No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Billboard 200.

Prior to the release of the remix, Diddy teased fans by posting behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming “Creepin'” music video on his Instagram account.

But “Creepin” remix isn’t the only song that dropped today that we’re obsessed with!

Country pop princess Taylor Swift released “Lavender Haze;” Luke Combs hit us with “5 Leaf Clover;” Claim to Fame star Logan Crosby dropped “Everybody’s Drunk;” icons U2 came out with “Beautiful Day (Songs Of Surrender);” Bea Miller released 3 new singles under “jealous of my friends;” JIMIN of BTS dropped “Set Me Free Pt.2;” All Time Low released their ninth studio album “Tell Me I’m Alive;” Jenna Raine with “Stupid Cupid;” Ryan Beatty dropped “Ribbons,” angelic Tori Kelly with “missin u,” JVKE with “this is what losing someone feels like,” Usher with some fresh heat “GLU,” and a special shoutout to upcoming artist Jay-Way releasing “Running Out Of Love” today (March 17).

There was also the release of collaborations from Zac Brown Band  and Stone Cold Country “Paint It Black,” as well as “06 Gucci” by Gucci Mane featuring DaBaby and 21 Savage, and “Players” by Coi Leray and David Guetta.

We even had a couple album releases such as “Lil Pump 2” by Lil Pump, “On Top Of The Covers” a cover album by T-Pain, “2000” by Latin artist Manuel Turizo, Sabrina Carpenter released an extended version of her latest album now dubbed “emails I can’t send fwd:,” an entire EP from Chymes “Game Over,” Lil Keed dropped “Talk To ‘Em 2” which features numerous collaborations.
