Harry Styles – “Lights Up”
Harry Styles is back, baby! The multi-talented musician released his first song in two years today titled “Lights Up,” and people are going crazy over it.
Camila Cabello – “Easy”
Today, two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum and chart-topping singer/songwriter Camila Cabello unveils a new song entitled “Easy.” It stands out as the latest track to be uncovered from her anxiously awaited second full-length and one of the most anticipated albums of 2019, Romance—coming very soon.
“Easy” illuminates yet another side of her artistry. Plucks of harp and keys glisten alongside a sparse beat as her angelic delivery powers vulnerable verses. This bold ballad builds towards the catchy and confessional refrain, “I always thought I was hard to love until you made it seem easy.”
Sam Hunt – “Kinfolks”
Multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning hitmaker Sam Hunt introduces fans to his brand-new song, “Kinfolks,” written by Hunt with longtime collaborators Zach Crowell, Jerry Flowers and Josh Osborne.
“When I think of ‘kinfolks,’ when I think of that phrase,” says Hunt, “I think of my family, but also I think of my people back home – beyond family. It’s my buddies who’ve been a part of my story from the beginning. I’ve made a lot of new friends and met a lot of new people who are important to me since I’ve moved away, but that core group is still my core group. It’s like that old saying, ‘you can’t make old friends.’” Hunt leans on that sentiment, exemplifying the importance of bringing a new relationship into the mix and comfortability of home.
Fans have eagerly awaited new music from the record-breaking star since last year’s “Downtown’s Dead,” the follow-up to Hunt’s 6x Platinum “Body Like A Back Road,” and his GRAMMY-nominated, Triple-Platinum-selling debut album, Montevallo.
Black Eyed Peas x J Balvin – “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)”
Pacing for the most-anticipated comeback in recent memory, Black Eyed Peas resurface with a smash on par with their legendary run of hits…
The six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning, genre-bending pioneers x history-making reggaeton superstar J Balvin—who remains one of the hottest acts in the globe today and possibly the biggest Latin star of the millennium—share a new collaborative single entitled “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)” today. This marks the group’s first release under their newly minted deal with Epic Records. Uniting these two titans, this is undoubtedly the biggest song of 2019, to say the least.
“RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)” similarly captures the high-octane action the franchise remains known for. Breaking boundaries, it fuses Black Eyed Peas’ inimitable hybrid of hip-hop and pop with Balvin’s incendiary and infectious take on reggaeton. Fittingly, the word “Ritmo” translates to “Rhythm” in English. The song impacts Top 40, Latin, and Rhythm Crossover on Monday November 4. Meanwhile, Colin Tilley [Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna] helmed the accompanying music video intercut with explosive sequences from the movie.
The song heralds the arrival of the anxiously awaited Bad Boys For Life Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album.

The track started as a freestyle – with JoJo voicing the thoughts of her critics as well as her own internalized negativity – but became a thoughtful commentary on cancel culture: how social media emboldens people to say whatever they want without fear of repercussions. JoJo explains,
“For someone to write someone off and tell them when their story ends or what’s possible for them is just ridiculous. Anything is possible. You are on a path all your own – I am more confident than ever about mine.”

In the chorus, we wrote “are you Jekyll & Hyde-ing me?” as a way to describe the chaotic feeling of dating someone who has two very different sides. I hope you like it. And if you don’t, please don’t tell me. I’m far too sensitive to hear that,” Briggs says.
