Happy New Music Friday, fam!
The weekend is officially upon us and we have a ton of new tunes to keep us in a good mood before we start a new work week.
To no surprise, Justin Bieber and benny blanco are topping our New Music Friday playlist this week with their ballad “Lonely,” a track that was written by both blanco and Grammy Award-winning producer Finneas.
“benny and Finneas are both extraordinary writers, and it’s been amazing collaborating with them on ‘Lonely,’” says Bieber. “To be honest, the finished song is tough for me to listen to, considering how hard it was to get through some of those chapters. Hopefully telling this story will encourage others to vocalize what they are going through.”
This week saw more collaborations (and remixes!) from some of the industry’s most talented, including releases from Sada Vaby and Nicki Minaj; Yung Bleu and Drake; G-Eazy and blackbear; Tate McRae and Ali Gatie; Lauv and Conan Gray; Lindsey Lomis and JoJo; and Sarah Barrios and Rence.
More earworms earned high placement on our playlist this afternoon — Demi Lovato‘s “Commander In Chief;” Lana Del Rey‘s “Let Me Love You Like A Woman;” Paris Hilton‘s “I Blame You;” Austin Mahone‘s “Summer Love;” and Sofia Carson‘s “Guess I’m A Liar” with other buzzworthy songs coming from emerging artists like YDE; Chloe Flower; Cards and Amber Frank.
