Nick Cannon Reveals Gender to Baby No. 8 A Month After the Death of His Son Zen

Nick Cannon has definitely shown his love for children!

The 41-year-old entertainer surprised his audience and followers on the Nick Cannon Show by revealing he is expecting his eighth child with the model Bre Tiesi on Monday (January 31).

In an emotional clip, Cannon reveals he usually doesn’t share personal photos on his show’s segment “Pic of the Day,” but he was excited to share the baby news with everyone. This is Tiesi’s first child with Cannon and it will be a boy.

Despite being a private person, Cannon previously opened up about the death of his son Zen Scott last month due to brain cancer. He shared the child with Alyssa Scott. Cannon revealed in the full video he was aware of Tiesi’s pregnancy even before the death of his son but didn’t know how to share the news.

“I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough — She held off making our announcements and speaking on social media,” Cannon says in the video. “She’s a very, you know, in the public eye type of person, but keeps her stuff private as well.”

He continued with, “And it was just one of those things like, you know, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off. Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasn’t planned to talk about it. We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened. We here and I’m with my family I get to discuss it, I get to be open.”

Cannon talked about an encounter he had at the airport where someone expressed their love for his show, which he has many, such as Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. He was surprised to know they were talking about his daytime Nick Cannon Show. They loved it because of how open he is in the conversations he shares with his audience where his vulnerable side is revealed.
