Nick Jonas to be the Music Curator for the 2016 Miss America Competition – Get the Scoop! (@MissAmericaOrg @nickjonas)

The Miss America Organization, dick clark productions and ABC announced today that recording superstar Nick Jonas will serve as the official Music Curator for the 2016 Miss America Competition!

As Music Curator, Nick will personally select the music that will accompany the Swimsuit and Evening Gown competitions. He will also provide commentary throughout the evening on his music selections and the thought process behind each song. Nick joins previously announced host Chris Harrison and celebrity judges Brett Eldredge, Taya Kyle, Kevin O’Leary, Amy Purdy and Zendaya. Additional talent and judges, including Harrison’s co-host, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 2016 Miss America Competition returns to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 (9:00 – 11:00p.m./ET) on the ABC Television Network. The evening will be filled with glitz and glam as 52 women compete for the coveted crown and scholarship.
