Nicki Minaj’s baby boy is taking things one step at a time.
The “Seeing Green” rapper took to Instagram to share a home video of her 8-month-old son attempting to walk.

The short video captioned “young king 😩😍,” captured Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, guiding their son as he took baby steps.
Minaj has not yet revealed her son’s name, but she has referred to him as “Papa Bear.” In the video, you can hear the rapper asking her son “you ain’t trying to do all of that today. Everyone bothering you. You had it?”
She then responded in an interpretation of her son’s voice “mama I had it, leave me alone already, please! Ain’t nobody got time for all of that, mama.”
It looks like “Papa Bear” is following in his mother’s footsteps as a fashion guru. In the viral video, he is rocking head-to-toe Burberry, along with a diamond chain and bracelet.
We’re sure “Papa Bear” will fit right in with the other celeb babies. In Minaj‘s verse on ‘Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)’ with Sada Baby she rapped – “To be honest, I hope one day, we do a playdate with Adonis.”
Adonis is Drake’s 3-year-old son. The Canadian rapper posted on his Instagram story writing, “play dates soon come @nickiminaj.”
