On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, actress Salma Hayek recalled the time her pet owl coughed up a hairball on Harry Styles.
While promoting her new film The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, which features an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman – the actress revealed her embarrassing story.
“One time, there was a very important celebrity – I will not say his name – he was really excited about the owl and was hoping that the owl would go on his head because it was on me. The minute he least expected it, [Kering landed] on his head…. and this thing came out, this ball of rat hair was on his head,” Hayek explained.
Towards the end of the interview, DeGeneres asked, “Who was the celebrity the owl was sitting on? You can tell us.” While she looked nervous to say, Hayek revealed it was Harry Styles!
The Oscar-nominated actress said, “he was okay” and “didn’t scream” because he understood that this kind of thing “happens sometimes when you have guests” and that “he was super cool” about the minor accident.
