The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Noella Bergener, revealed she met her now ex-husband on a website commonly known for finding sugars daddies.
During part one of the RHOC reunion, the 36-year-old was questioned all about her relationship with the Los Angeles attorney, James Bergener, also known as Sweet James. The downfall of their marriage was captured during Noella’s debut on season 16, when James filed for divorce.
Bravo host Andy Cohen didn’t shy away from the topic at the reunion. He kicked off the discussion by finding out how Noella met her estranged husband.
“Online. It’s a dating website but it’s like a naughty one.” Noella explained. “It’s called Seeking Arrangements.”

She went on to explain the dating site is typically for “attractive girls and wealthy men” to connect. At the time they met, James was still legally married to another woman, Amy Bergener.
“He was separated when I met him so once we realized that we could have children, and I could start IVF, it was important to me to do the gathering of our family and do the picture of me in the white dress,” the Bravo star said. “So we had a wedding ceremony knowing that it wasn’t fully legal.”
Noella shut down claims that she was a gold digger and only looking for money, saying none of that was a factor when she decided to marry James and start a family with him.
The two spent six years together, and share two-year-old James Jr. together. Noella has another child from a previous marriage.
Their tumultuous divorce was caught on camera with Noella claiming James blindsided her with the divorce and abandoned their autistic son in the process. While the season was airing, James repeatedly took to social media defending himself, saying his now ex-wife knew a divorce was coming.
“Were you being 100% honest,” Andy questioned. “Because I know your ex maintains that you were going to file from separation before he filed.”
“That’s a lie!”
It seems the co-parents aren’t on the same page about the dissolution of their relationship either. James also took to social media to say their relationship ended because of the show. Noella vehemently denied that saying she would have instantly dropped the show for her family.
“I like my plane, I loved my husband, I like my child having a father,” Noella said defensively. “I would really like to be believed when I’m telling you authentically and very wholeheartedly here, I was very much committed to that man and committed to that marriage.”
It seems things may be on the mend. Their divorce is finalized, and Noella says James has since seen his son. She’s also moving on with another beau.
She confirmed Wednesday night that she’s dating 33-year-old Bobby Schubenski and apparently they’re already going into business together.
“He bought me an adult toy marketplace company, we just got it trademarked,” Noella said about the Christmas present Schubenski gifted her. “It’s called Playland and I’m very excited about it.”
It’s not the first time the the clothing brand owner has been linked to a reality tv cast member. Schubenski was in an episode of Total Divas where he was seen proposing to his then girlfriend, Rose Mendes, at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
They split up in 2017.
