The drought for new Olivia Rodrigo music is almost over!
The 20-year-old singer, songwriter and actress has announced her new single “Vampire” today (June 13), putting her fans (and Hollywood’s biggest celebs) into an ultimate frenzy.
Breaking the news via Instagram, Rodrigo posted a black-and-white portrait of her side profile with purple band-aids on her neck. The GRAMMY Award winner is definitely known for loving the color purple, so it is no surprise this was chosen as the pop of color for the photo.
“My new song ‘vampire’ is out june 30th! you can pre-save now. so excited for this ahhhhh!!!!!!! 🖤🩸💜🫀❤️,” Olivia captioned the shot.

While it’s no secret that everyone is stoked for new music from Olivia Rodrigo, Twilight star Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob Black in the beloved franchise, hilariously showed his excitement by commenting “K WHO TF BIT YOU.”
The official Twilight account also commented, sharing, “been waiting for this day!!!!! 😭 dreams really do come true.”
Staying on the Twilight kick, the “drivers license” singer reposted a meme from her bestie Conan Gray, in which the phrase “Olivia Rodrigo’s new single” was edited into a scene from Twilight.
She also posted a cheeky TikTok, quoting Lautner’s character Jacob as someone asks, “Bella, where the hell have you been, loca?” which then cut to Rodrigo in the recording studio.

“Vampire” is set to release on Friday, June 30 and is available to pre-save here.
