It’s officially wedding season, so it’s safe to say that love is in the air everywhere you turn.
Since Wedding Talk dropped on Crackle and Chicken Soup for the Soul last Thursday (October 13), lovers of romance, parties, and all-around fun cannot stop talking about this soon-to-be hit series hosted by former figure skater and Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski.
Joined by world-famous wedding planner José Rolón, and leading wedding designer Jove Meyer, the 10-episode series dives deep into stunning wedding footage, as well as the destinations, décor, cakes, and dresses behind each individual wedding.

Celeb Secrets reporter Melanie Rooten sat down with Lipinski to discuss all things surrounding the new show, which she said was “the perfect fit when [she] got the call.”
While everything about the show is visually spectacular — especially when it comes down to the stunning “wedding films” that are bound to exceed your expectations — Wedding Talk has an intimate aspect that allows the viewer to step into either the bride or groom’s shoes. The viewer can connect with these couples on a deeper level, ultimately creating a heartfelt, feel-good series that you seriously can’t turn off.
According to Lipinski, “It’s the emotional component that I love so much… you get to know these couples, you get to find out what drives them to put together their special day in the way that they did, and there’s so many unique weddings.”

From backyard weddings to destination weddings, Wedding Talk has it all. Whether it’s getting married on top of a glacier or in front of an erupting volcano, this series truly captures ALL kinds of weddings.
An interesting aspect of the series is that each episode is themed. According to Lipinski, “we might be doing backyard weddings that day or we might be going on a destination wedding, but it makes you realize there are so many forms to getting married and all of them are so special.”

When debating whether or not to tune in to Wedding Talk, remember that it is defined as essentially a celebration of love. The show appeals to everyone, regardless of if you are single, taken, or even stuck in an always-dreaded ~situationship~.
“It’s for so many people,” says Lipinski. “Obviously couples that are about to get married, this is the show for them; but if you just love event planning, parties and celebrations, it’s also the one for you.”
Lipinski said it best when she told us, “Who doesn’t love love? Who doesn’t love a party?” Wedding Talk captures all of this and even more.
